A therapeutic integrative massage combines elements of several different techniques to meet the needs of each client for relief of stress, to release muscle tension and to induce complete relaxation.
My massage utilizes a combination of Eastern and Western approaches to massage consisting of Swedish, Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, Shiatsu and Polarity as well as Joint Mobilizations and Myofascial techniques.
Since each person has a unique response to different types of bodywork, this integration of modalities ensures that each client receives feelings of well-being and relaxation, powerful healing benefits for the body, mind and spirit.

·Swedish Massage uses gliding and kneading movements to relax soft tissue, increase circulation and release toxins held in muscles. Oils and lotions are used on the skin to facilitate these movements.
·Hawaiian Lomilomi is a cleansing and detoxifying massage, using the palm of the hand to apply broad, flat upward strokes and "circling" strokes to break up and decongest areas of tension. As in Swedish massage, the client's skin is lubricated with oils to lessen the friction of the strokes.
·Shiatsu uses gentle pressure and stretching along energy pathways, or meridians, in the body to balance the energy system and assist in natural healing. Although some Shiatsu is integrated into a regular massage, it can be offered as a separate treatment administered to the client on a padded floor mat in the traditional fashion.
·Polarity therapy is a gentle technique of holding various negatively and positively charged points on the body to release obstructions in the flow of the body's life energy.
·Deep Tissue utilizes a deeper, very focused, pressure to relieve specific problem areas. Using powerful myofascial techniques, the therapist administers a deep, slow, gliding stroke with an open fist, elbow or forearm, foregoing the use of oils or lotions , in order to obtain the benefit of traction.
